The Yealink MeetingBar A40 is an all-in-one Android video bar for small to medium meeting rooms of up to 12 people. Two 48 MP cameras combine into one 4K image with a 120° view, 8 microphones pick up voices up to 6 m away, and it runs Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms natively, with no room PC.

About the Yealink MeetingBar A40

The A40 stitches the images from two 78° cameras into a single 120° frame, which keeps detail at the far end of the table that a single wide lens would lose. On top of that view it runs IntelliFocus, which shows recent speakers in close-up, People Counting, and Video Fence, which keeps people outside the meeting area out of the picture and the audio.

With the CTP25 touch console, one Cat5e cable from the bar powers and connects the console, one sign-in on the console sets up the whole system, and one USB-C cable from a laptop to the console carries 4K sharing, bring-your-own-device meetings and charging. When a room outgrows the built-in audio, the bar takes up to 2 extension microphones or Yealink's CM20 ceiling microphone with CS10 ceiling speakers, which is what the ceiling audio bundle adds.

  • Dual 48 MP cameras

Two lenses combine into one 4K image with a 120° diagonal and 110° horizontal view, up to 60 fps.

  • IntelliFocus and Video Fence

Close-ups of recent speakers, People Counting, and a virtual boundary that keeps people outside the room out of the meeting.

  • 6 m voice pickup

An 8-microphone MEMS array with AI noise cancellation and reverberation suppression, high-quality pickup to 4 m.

  • Stereo speakers

    Two built-in 10 W speakers for full-duplex conversation.

  • Room to grow

Supports up to 2 extension microphones, VCM35 and VCM36 units, and the CM20 ceiling mic with CS10 ceiling speakers.

  • Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and BYOD

The bar and the CTP25 are certified for Teams and Zoom, and General Mode lets a laptop use the bar with other apps.

Which MeetingBar A40 should I buy?

The bar is the same in every version. The A40-010 comes with the VCR11 remote control. The A40-031 comes with the CTP25 touch console instead, adds $690 at MSRP, and is the one to pick if people will join from the table or plug in laptops through the console. The ceiling audio bundle is the A40-031 package plus a CM20 ceiling microphone, two CS10 ceiling speakers and an RCH40 E2 four-port PoE switch, for $1,660 more than the A40-031; Yealink's reference layouts use ceiling audio for medium rooms. Once a CM20 is connected the bar's own speakers switch off, which is why the bundle pairs it with the CS10s.

Questions about the Yealink MeetingBar A40

Does the MeetingBar A40 work with Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms?
Both. Yealink certifies the A40 and the CTP25 touch console for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and the bar runs either natively without a room PC. Smart Gallery is a Zoom-only framing mode.
What size room is the A40 for?
Small to medium meeting rooms. Yealink rates it for up to 12 people, with voice pickup up to 6 m. For larger or deeper rooms, add extension microphones or choose the ceiling audio bundle.
Which version should I buy?
The A40-010 includes a remote; the A40-031 includes the CTP25 touch console for $690 more at MSRP. The ceiling audio bundle adds a CM20 ceiling mic, two CS10 ceiling speakers and a PoE switch to the A40-031 package.
Can I use the A40 with a ceiling microphone?
Yes, with the Yealink CM20. The built-in audio cannot run at the same time: once the CM20 is connected, the bar's speakers turn off, so Yealink recommends pairing it with CS10 ceiling speakers, as the ceiling audio bundle does.
Can I use the A40 with a Telnamix hosted or 3CX phone system?
The A40 is a video meeting device, not a desk phone, and Yealink does not list 3CX among its platforms. In General Mode a laptop can use the bar as the camera and audio for third-party apps, but ask us to test your setup before you rely on it for calls.
What is the warranty?
Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
