Wireless expansion microphone for the Yealink CP960, now end of sale

$220.00MSRP

The listed price is not our best price. It is usually the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, or the lowest price our agreements let us advertise. Add it to your quote and we’ll get you our best price, with a 3-year warranty on Yealink hardware.

The Yealink CPW90 is a wireless expansion microphone for the Yealink CP960 conference phone, picking up voices in a full circle within a 10-foot (3 m) radius so people far from the phone are heard. Yealink stopped selling it on September 30, 2021, so it is mainly a replacement or add-on for rooms that already run a CP960.

End of sale. Yealink lists the CPW90 on its end-of-sale product list: it has been discontinued since September 30, 2021, Yealink no longer accepts new orders, and no new features will be developed. Yealink's notice does not name a successor.

Questions about the CPW90? .

About the Yealink CPW90

The CPW90 works as an extra audio input for a CP960: you place it on the table where the phone's own microphones do not reach, and it sends audio to the CP960 without a cable. Yealink lists DECT as its wireless technology. It has a capacitive touchpad for mute and charges by being set on its cradle. It works up to 20 m from the CP960, and its 800 mAh battery gives up to 19 hours of talk time and 11 days of standby.

The listing we carry is the CPW90 sold with a Yealink BT42 USB Bluetooth dongle. Because the product is end of sale, Yealink no longer develops new features for it. Yealink's end-of-life policy promised attempted software bug fixes only through the fifth year after the end-of-sale date, a window that has now passed, and hardware repair and spare parts depend on distributor inventory. For a new room, look at a current conference phone with its own expansion microphones, such as the CP965 with CPW65.
