The Yealink CP935W is a wireless conference phone for small to medium meeting rooms where you do not want power or network cables running to the table. Six microphones pick up voices in a full circle out to 20 feet (6 m), and the built-in battery is rated for up to 20 hours of talk time. It registers a SIP account over Wi-Fi by itself, or over DECT through the Yealink W70B base station included in the CP935W-Base kit.

About the Yealink CP935W
The CP935W has a 7800 mAh battery inside, so after charging on its cradle it can be carried to any table in the room and used without a cord. It connects one of two ways, and you switch between them with one touch: over your Wi-Fi network (2.4 or 5 GHz), where the phone registers its own SIP account, or over DECT to a Yealink base station, which holds the SIP account for it. The W70B base in the CP935W-Base kit covers up to 50 m indoors.
Audio comes from a Y-shaped body with six microphones, full-duplex echo cancellation and Yealink noise filtering, aimed at rooms of small to medium size. Through Bluetooth 4.2 or its USB-C port you can connect a mobile phone or a computer and mix that call with a SIP call in the same meeting; Yealink also lists the CPN10 PSTN box among the devices it connects, for bringing an analog phone line into the call. The phone handles 5-way conference calls and the usual phone system features: busy lamp field, paging, intercom, call pickup and voicemail.
No cords during a meeting
A 7800 mAh built-in battery and wireless connections mean nothing has to be plugged in while it sits on the table. It recharges on its cradle in about 4 hours.
Six microphones
A 360-degree array picks up voices out to 20 feet (6 m), with full-duplex audio so people can talk over each other naturally.
Wi-Fi or DECT
On Wi-Fi it registers a SIP account directly. On DECT it registers through a Yealink W70B base, which reaches up to 50 m indoors.

Pair a phone or computer by Bluetooth or USB-C and join that call to a SIP call for a hybrid meeting.

Which CP935W should I buy?
Both versions are the same conference phone and can switch between Wi-Fi and DECT. The CP935W on its own is the right buy when the room has reliable Wi-Fi, or when you already run a compatible Yealink DECT base such as a W70B. The CP935W-Base adds a W70B base station, its stand, a second power adapter and an Ethernet cable for $100 more at MSRP; choose it when you want the phone on DECT and have no base yet. The W70B can also carry up to 10 DECT handsets.

Questions about the Yealink CP935W
- Does the Yealink CP935W work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
- Yes. It is a SIP phone: on Wi-Fi it registers a SIP account on the phone itself, and on DECT it registers through the Yealink base station. Registering to a SIP phone system is how it works with a Telnamix hosted or 3CX system. The phone itself uses one SIP account.
- What is the difference between the CP935W and the CP935W-Base?
- The phone is the same. The CP935W-Base kit adds a Yealink W70B DECT base station, so the phone can run on DECT instead of Wi-Fi. Buy the CP935W alone if you will use Wi-Fi or already have a compatible Yealink base.
- How long does the CP935W battery last?
- Yealink rates it for up to 20 hours of talk time, and up to 75 hours of standby on Wi-Fi or 167 hours on DECT, in ideal conditions. It takes about 4 hours to charge on its cradle.
- Can I add a call from my cell phone or laptop to a meeting?
- Yes. Connect the phone or computer by Bluetooth or the USB-C port and the CP935W can combine that call with a SIP call in one hybrid meeting.
- Can I add an extra microphone for a bigger table?
- Yealink lists support for one CPW25 Bluetooth wireless microphone, which adds about 3 m of pickup range. The datasheets marked it as coming soon, so ask us about availability before you plan around it.
