About the Yealink AVHub

A small meeting room gets by with one camera and one speakerphone plugged into the room computer. A large room or boardroom needs more cameras, more microphones and more speakers than a computer can take directly. The AVHub is the box they all plug into. Each device connects with a single Ethernet cable that also powers it, and the AVHub processes the audio and video for the room system.

Because it handles the audio and video processing itself, it takes load off the room computer (Yealink’s MCore). With more than one camera running, people joining remotely can see every enabled camera in a custom layout, each camera can use its own tracking mode, and the layout can be changed before or during a Teams Rooms meeting with the Yealink plugin. Yealink also lists support for divisible rooms and bring your own device meetings.

  • Several cameras at once

  • Room-scale audio

Supports up to 8 VCM34 or VCM38 array microphones and up to 4 MSpeaker II speakers.

  • One cable per device

Room devices connect over Ethernet with Power over Ethernet, through 7 RJ-45 device ports.

  • Lighter load on the room PC

Does audio and video processing on its own AI-capable chipset instead of on the room computer.

  • Teams Rooms layout control

The Yealink plugin for Microsoft Teams Rooms changes the camera layout, either ahead of a meeting or while it runs.

  • Divisible rooms and BYOD
