The Yealink BH70 is an everyday Bluetooth business headset for office, home and travel use, sold in a one-ear (Mono) and a two-ear (Dual) style. Three microphones filter out background noise on calls, the wireless range reaches 50 m (164 ft), and a charge gives up to 35 hours of talk time.

About the Yealink BH70
The BH70 has no active noise cancellation. What it offers instead is a light build (91 g for the Mono, 147 g for the Dual) and a long battery. Its three MEMS microphones use beamforming to pick up your voice and reject the sound around you, 35 mm speakers handle both calls and music, and Yealink lists six equalizer presets for music.
Most versions ship with a BT51 USB dongle for the computer, and the headset can pair with a phone over Bluetooth at the same time. Raising the boom arm mutes the microphone and lowering it unmutes, and red busylights come on during calls (on one side for the Mono, both sides for the Dual). Two lower-priced UC versions leave out the dongle and connect by Bluetooth or USB cable instead.
Mono or Dual
Choose one ear cup, which keeps the other ear free for the room, or two for stereo sound and better isolation.
Three-microphone noise filtering
Three MEMS microphones with beamforming and Yealink Acoustic Shield keep office chatter and street noise off your calls.
Long battery life
Up to 35 hours of talk time with the busylight off, up to 43 hours of music, and up to 22 days on standby. A full charge takes up to 90 minutes.
Long wireless range
Up to 50 m (164 ft) from the dongle or phone, so you can walk away from the desk without dropping the call.
Mute with the boom
Lift the microphone arm to mute and lower it to talk again, with no button to find.
Busylights
Red lights turn on by themselves during a call so coworkers know you are busy.
Which BH70 should I buy?
Start with the wearing style: Mono covers one ear and costs $20 less at MSRP ($169 against $189), Dual covers both. Next the edition: Teams if your company calls through Microsoft Teams, UC for everything else, including a Telnamix hosted or 3CX phone system. Then the dongle: USB-C/A versions come with a USB-C dongle and an adapter, so they fit either port; a few versions have a USB-C or USB-A dongle only. The two UC versions without a dongle ($99.90 Dual, $86.90 Mono) are the cheapest way in and connect to the computer by its own Bluetooth or by USB cable. The stand versions add $16 and are Teams only in this range; UC buyers can add the BH70 charging stand separately.

Questions about the Yealink BH70
- What is the difference between the BH70 Mono and Dual?
- The Mono has one ear cup and weighs 91 g, which suits people who need to hear the room around them. The Dual covers both ears, weighs 147 g, and plays stereo. At MSRP the Mono costs $20 less. Battery life and microphones are the same.
- Does the Yealink BH70 work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
- Yes. Through its USB dongle, a USB cable, or your computer's Bluetooth, the BH70 works as a standard headset for softphone apps such as the 3CX desktop and web apps. If you are not on Microsoft Teams, choose a UC version.
- How long does the BH70 battery last?
- Up to 35 hours of talk time with the busylight off, or up to 28 hours with it on. Music playback runs up to 43 hours and standby up to 22 days. A full charge takes up to 90 minutes.
- Do I need the dongle?
- Not always. The without-dongle versions pair with your computer's built-in Bluetooth or plug in by USB cable, and they cost much less. The dongle gives a dedicated link to the computer with up to 50 m (164 ft) of range, and you can add a BT51 dongle later.
- Does the BH70 have active noise cancellation?
- No. Its three microphones filter noise out of what the other person hears, but the headset does not cancel noise for you. For active noise cancellation, look at the BH74 or BH76.
- What is the warranty?
- Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
